My Type of Ramen/私の好きなラーメン

Japanese Food

Ramen is said a national dish of Japan, but that doesn’t mean that everyone in Japan likes ramen. I, for one, feel an aversion toward many contemporary ramen because they are just too salty and/or fatty for my taste, and I rarely go to a ramen shop these days. Today, I made ramen of my own style.
Ramen noodles (right), naruto (middle), which is a kind of fish paste, and shinachiku or menma (seasoned bamboo shoots)

I made thick slices of naruto.

The ramen soup is a 12:1:1 mixture of dashi, soy sauce, and mirin.

I also made vegetable stir-fry, which I served in a separate plate.
