Today (May 3), a festival called “Sen-Nin Kimono Chakai” was held here in the Shiozawa area of Minami Uonuma city to commemorate the completion of Bokushi Dori (Bokushi Street).

Kagami wari (opening of a sake barrel with wooden mallets): 10:30
“Tape cut” (ribbon cutting ceremony): 15:00
Taking of commemorative group photos: 15:30
